Collaborative development of durian growing regions, preparing supply for export

Durian is becoming one of Vietnam's most promising agricultural sectors in the international market. The growing consumer demand opens up numerous opportunities for businesses to participate in the export value chain, while also imposing increasingly stringent requirements for product quality, supply stability, and raw material area control.

Recognizing both the potential and challenges of this sector, AntAgri is systematically developing durian cultivation areas, linking growing area codes and standard-compliant packing facilities to prepare a quality supply and better meet the demands of future export markets.

During the implementation process, AntAgri focuses on connecting and collaborating with partners, affiliated cooperatives, and local farmers. 

Cooperative activities are being implemented to discuss cultivation area development strategies, assess actual production conditions, projected annual yield and output, and gradually build the necessary foundation for the fresh and processed durian supply chain for export.

Developing cultivation areas plays a crucial role in enhancing supply autonomy, while also supporting quality management, traceability, and meeting the increasingly stringent requirements of international markets.

Through this collaborative model, AntAgri aims to partner with stakeholders and farmers to enhance production quality, progressively refine raw material areas, and build a more sustainable durian value chain.

In the coming period, AntAgri will continue to coordinate with relevant parties to manage and develop cultivation areas, while optimally preparing the fresh durian supply to capitalize on export opportunities.

By establishing raw material areas and developing long-term cooperative models, AntAgri aims to enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products, while simultaneously creating more sustainable development opportunities for businesses and farmers.
